We just planned a family trip to Chail and I was calling my friends regarding a good home stay in Chail, the same time I searched online and saw "The Hide Away Homestay" with best price. After going through the photographs of rooms and location, I was surprised about the price deal. I was of the opinion that in actual it may not be the same, but when we reached the Homestay it was totally a wonderful experience, ambiance was awesome, room was beyond our expectations, everything inside was very neat and clean. The outside view, greenery, evening music and delecious food cooked in home stay will definitely make you think to visit here again and again. I recommend you to atleast visit the site, you will definitely like it ...!!!

Homestay is run by most humble and welcoming guys (Mr Arun bhai and Mr Neeraj bhai). They really made us feel like we were at home.
Food here is amazing and has a nice, homely and fresh taste. Special mention to himachali dham which was prepared with so much dedication and served with so much of warmth that made it a very memorable experience.
Property is pet friendly and they really took good care of our pet.
Rooms are spacious having wide windows with a nice view of outside. There is good amount of storage space as well. Bathrooms are squeaky clean.
The homestay is situated at very picturesque location amidst the nature surrounding by forest of deodar, pine, ban trees and plenty of other flora.
Special thanks to the owners for showing us the sunset point and the meadow on the hilltop. These spots are best for the morning and the evening walks.

It's not a hotel, it's a farm stay with the facilities a decent hotel provides.
If you are a true nature lover, you are going to love this place for sure, it's a lifetime experience.
This farm stay has their own apple orchard, and vegetable garden, and to my surprise that e they even do bee farming .you can purchase fresh honey from them.
Go for nature walk, the valley view from this place is amazing in the morning and at night enjoy camp fire. Again if your are lucky to get clear sky you can do star gazing too.
Last but not the list, you will always remember the warm hospitality of Neeraj ji and Arun.
I have already started missing this place , surely going to visit this place again .๐

We had a wonderful stay here. We stayed for a week but it is more like a home to us. Arun bhaiya and Neeraj bhaiya are very humble and kind hosts. I really enjoyed my stay because there is so much peace and greenery . Rooms are very spacious , neat and clean . Washrooms are also very tidy. TV and wifi provided . There are places to go for morning and evening walks like a hilltop meadow and a sunset view point. Must visit place for vacation and work-ation. Food is very yummy and freshly cooked. It is pet friendly place and our dog enjoyed so much and loved by Arun bhaiya.

This Hode Away is truly a fantastic destination for a quite holiday with family and friends. You can take leisurely walks in all four directions in the beautiful environment. . There is a huge plain ground for those who want to indulge in some sports. Or just carry your ground sheets, spread these and have a family picnic.
It is just 500 yards from the main road yet you are away from the traffic nuisance.
Both Neeraj & Arum managing this property are so humble, respectful and efficient.

A magical place nestled in deep wooded area far away from the maddening crowds and traffic. This quaint place is worth visiting.
The owners Mr. Arun and Mr. Neeraj were very cooperative and affable.
Food was pure vegetarian and very delicious. Non Veg can be ordered from dhaba nearby on main road. (They deliver to this place also)
Tried Himachali Dham, a traditional wedding feast. It was excellent in all aspects and all of us loved it and the way it was cooked and served with love and care.
All 4 rooms were well maintained, clean and cozy. A few drawbacks were discussed with the owners and they took my suggestion very sportingly and promised to work on them.
The approach road is motorable but tricky. Unexperienced drivers must call them for guidance.
The views from the homestay is not much to talk about but views from nearby places was awesome.
Complimentary jungle walk and sunset view point was an icing on the cake.
Overall very enjoyable stay. Must visit place if you like quite places.

For starters, you get amazing hospitality by the owners Arun and Neeraj. You will feel as if you belong there.
Itโs nestled among the Chail Wildlife Sanctuary with the mesmerising views of the villages and towns all around including Shimla.
The trail to the stay is also very thrilling and exciting, for all the off-roaders out there. Any vehicles can reach the stay.
The rooms are very clean and well built, almost feels as new.
Stargazing, bonfire, hiking and petting the doggos are a must. Good luck with not extending your stay over. :)

If someone is nature lover than this place is for u, located away from the crowd of Shimla/Kufri/Kasauli. It feels like home here due to their service and warm reception. And this place is in itself a place to visit because of its scenic beauty .U can relax here from your stressful city life. My recent stay at hideaway homestay was a delightful immersion into local hospitality and culture nestled in the beautiful hills of Chail near Shimla. Checked in on 12 June with family, welcomed by refreshing drink, had superb stay, location surrounded by Jungle and mountain view, so much peace, so cool even in june, At night we enjoyed camp fire, with music, dinner provided as so delicious and tasty Thali in minimal cost, Tea breakfast is also so tasty, we and my childrens enjoyed a lot โบ๏ธโบ๏ธโบ๏ธ,. both care takers are very polite,
